This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you create a profile on fizo.io website.

At FIZO we know you care about how your personal information is used and shared.  Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy.

By using FIZO App in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.

Required age of majority

The FIZO App is not intended for individuals under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdictions of Canadian provinces or territories or state jurisdictions in the United States of America.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.  We’re constantly trying to improve the app, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If you use the App after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means the Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected.

 

Information You Provide to Us:

We receive and store any information you provide to us.  Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.

For example, through the registration process and/or through your account settings, we may collect Personal Information as explained below. If you provide your third-party account credentials to us or otherwise sign in to the app through a third party site or service, you understand some content and/or information in those accounts (“Third Party Account Information”) may be transmitted into your account with us, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our app is covered by this Privacy Policy. 

 

What Personal Information do we collect?

We collect the following information you’ve provided to us:

  • name and password

  • email address

  • location

  • education history

  • employment history

  • company name

  • third party Platform (e.g., Instagram) account connected

  • Images you provide when you use the website, via your camera or camera roll (if you have granted us permission to access your camera or camera roll).  We obtain only the specific images you chose and not the camera roll. Please note that while we do not require or request any metadata attached to the photographs you upload, metadata (including, for example, geotags) may be associated with your photographs by default.

 

User Profiles and Submissions:

Certain user profile information, including your name, location, and any or image content that user has uploaded to the app, may be displayed to other users to facilitate user interaction within the website or address your request for services.  Please remember that any content you upload to your user profile, along with any Personal Information or content that you voluntarily disclose online in a manner that other users can view becomes available to other users and can potentially be collected and used by anyone.  Your name or username may also be displayed to other users when you send messages or comments or upload images through the app and other users can contact you through messages and comments.

 

We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may email you about your use of the website.  We use the email information we have, to communicate with you about our website, and let you know about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

 

Whenever you interact with our website, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your device, which may include your IP address and device identification. 

Also, if you click on a link to a third-party website or service e.g. Instagram, such third party may transmit cookies to you.  This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties, and we aren’t responsible for their privacy policies and practices.

We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information in personally identifiable form to anyone. 

We collect Personal Information using “Log files” to collect personal data.

Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security.  If you access your account via a third-party site or service, you may have additional or different sign-on protections via that third-party site or service.  You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password and limiting access to your device.

 

We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other Personal Information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security.  Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

We may have to share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations if we have good-faith belief, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive.

 

What choices do I have?

You can always opt not to disclose information to us and use the privacy settings available, but keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.

You may be able to add, update, or delete information as explained above.  When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
